Cezanne's Studio#8 of 8
On the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence, this modern master brought a new vocabulary to art, moving beyond Monet's impressionism toward the cubism of Picasso. Inside the high-ceilinged studio, Cezanne's own tools and props were bathed in light from a large north-facing window. I stepped outside to sit in the garden and, turning back, was captivated by this evocative scene. Enjoy!
