Dear Friends,

We're about to begin an artistic adventure!
You'll receive the first of eight E-Paintings inspired by my recent travels in the marvelous regions of Southwestern France. The trip was something of a pilgrimage for me, prompted by my studies of Eleanor of Aquitaine, 12th-century Queen of France and England, my 25th-generation great-grandmother.
Aquitaine, "land of waters," has coasts on both the Atlantic and Mediterranean, abundant river valleys, and millenia of rich cultural influences. This is a place where the good life was invented, full of vineyards, gorgeous landscapes, a relaxed attitude, charming architecture, and great food.
My new series consists of small paintings in acrylic on paper, so you will see the images at close to their actual size.
